LEADERBOARD

Casual scores are for today only. They are not added to Ranked All-time. No sign-in, and the same display name can be different people.

PRIVACY

Ranked play needs a sign-in before you start the daily. We store your email address (from Google or the email link), a server account id, a sign-in session cookie, the Ranked name you choose, and your Ranked scores. The email is used only to sign you in and is never shown on a board. Daily · Casual needs no account: it stores a random device id and the name you type, and that name can match someone else's. Signing in does not move earlier guest scores onto your account. To delete your account and email, contact @guessthemapdaily.

HOW TO PLAY

No borders on the globe. It's a bare relief globe: spin it and tap where you think the place is.
Hints cost points. Borders, a neighbour, a stat… each takes a % off that round (max −50%).
Speed clock. It starts when the globe opens: pin fast for up to +10%. Reading clues is free of the clock.
Two boards. Daily · Casual is temporary and needs no sign-in. Ranked Today and All-time follow your Google account on your phone and your PC. Sign in before you play, or that run stays casual. Guest scores are not added to an account later.
